Self Defence for Women Course

7th & 28th March, 11th April 2021

Have you ever felt physically threatened or scared for your safety?
If you were grabbed unexpectedly by a stranger would you know how to escape?
Can you read when a situation could become potentially dangerous?
In what situations would you be most vulnerable to an attack?

Gain self-confidence to recognise potentially risky situations and know how to handle yourself if the situation arose.

Join Ted D’Arcy in this very special 3 part course especially for women as he leads you through all aspects of self defence including:

  • awareness
  • reading body language
  • psychology of an attacker
  • verbal de-escalation of potential attack
  • physical techniques to escape or deal with physical confrontation

Over 3 Sunday afternoons you will learn physical techniques to protect yourself, as well as body language and verbal communication to de-escalate a threat.  Each session will build on and reinforce the techniques learnt in the previous session.
